FAQS ON ORDERING FROM THE WEBSITE. I want to see what you have in your shop? Can I just look around without buying? You are very welcome browse around the items on sale. Start by selecting the item type you want from the list on the left-hand side. Click on ‘Books’ or ‘Audio tapes’ You can then look down the whole list of items in that category. Click either on the picture of the item you want to know about (or the title of the item) and you go to page with more details about the length, content, price etc. You can add an item that takes your interest to your shopping cart, and if your decide later that you don’t want it, you can remove it from your cart. How do I start shopping at the BKPublications site? You can either start by browsing around the shop, looking at the items and deciding what you want, or if you know already, just go straight to the item and click on the icon ADD TO CART. When you have collected all the items you want, click the Shopping Cart icon at the top of the page and you’ll be taken straight to an itemised list together with prices of what you have selected so far? What if I change my mind and no longer want a particular item? Click the Shopping Cart icon at the top of the page, check the box (click in the box and a tick/check sign will appear), then click the word Remove, and the item you don’t want will automatically be removed and your total recalculated. What can I do if I see an item listed in the Shopping cart list and I have forgotten exactly what it is? Just click on the title of the item, and you’ll be taken back to the page which gives you the full details on that item. How do I order more than one of a particular item? There are two ways to do this. Either, when you are on the page which gives the details of that item, click on Add To Cart as many times as the number of copies of that item you want. For instance if you need three copies of a tape, click on Add to cart three times; your item will appear in your shopping list followed by the quantity ‘3’. OR, another way to order multiple quantities of an item is to select it once, then go to the shopping bill page (by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon at the top of the page), If you’ve clicked only once, the number 1 will be shown in the quantity column (Qty). Highlight it, and type in the number you require, then press the word Re-calculate and your bill will be automatically re-calculated. What if I want to reduce the quantity of items I have ordered? On the Shopping Cart page (reached by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon on the top of all the catalogue pages), use the Quantity boxes and the Remove and Re-calculate buttons to adjust your order to exactly what you want before deciding to buy. How can I keep track of the number of items I have ordered? While you are browsing around the catalogue and product pages, adding items to your trolley, the total number of items you have ordered and the total price is shown on the top right of the page next to the picture of a shopping cart. If you want to know exactly what items make up that total , click on the Shopping Cart icon in a circle at the very top of the page.
When I have finished my shopping, how do it pay? When you have bought everything you want, just like in a ‘real’ supermarket, proceed to the checkout. Just click on the CHECKOUT button at the bottom right of the page. If you have entered a DESTINATION from the drop down menu at the top of the page you will be able to proceed to the checkout. (Select from UNITED KINGDOM, EU COUNTRIES, or REST OF THE WORLD). If you don’t enter a region of the world, you cannot proceed with your order. You will be reminded to “Pick a destination for delivery”.

GENERAL QUESTIONS ON ORDERING FROM THE WEBSITE.
What is the Speed Shop and how can a Centre use it?
The Speed Shop works much the same as the standard shop - but quicker.
Essentially it is an animated order form in alphabetically order which lists all the products available. Just scroll down the list until you find what items you want and click on the + sign on the right of each line if you want to add one item to your 'shopping cart'.
If I want to order more than one of a particular item, what do I do?
Type in the number you want in the quantity box which is marked 'Qty', then click on the box 'ADD TO CART' at the bottom of the page. Your items will be added to your total shopping list.
What if I decide I want more (or fewer) items than I ordered at first?
Go to view your shopping cart (either by clicking on the SHOW CART symbol at the bottom of the page, or by clicking 'Shopping Cart' at the very top of the page). There you will see the items and quantities you have ordered so far. To change the quantity of any particular item, highlight the number in the quantity box and re-type the number you would like, then click on the box marked 'Re-calculate'. Your sub-total for those items and overall total will automatically be altered. If you wish to delete an item you have entered, click in the box headed 'SORT' against the item you wish to delete, and then click on the button below called 'Remove', you unwanted items will be deleted from your list and the total automatically recalculated.
Do we still get the centre discount when we order from the Centre website?
Yes, the centre discount has already be calculated and discounted from the price of each item. So the price you see, is the actual centre price, available ONLY to official BK centres, and not to the general public.
What is the difference between the public website and the centre website?
There are certain items available only to authorised centres, and not to the general public, and the prices have been adjust to include the centre discount. The Centre website is intended only for use by centre officials, so the centre login name and passwords should not be shared with centre students or members or the public who have their own website, www.bkpublications.com If our centre wants to have its order delivered to our site, how can this be done?
At the end of your shopping list, there is a text box which invites you to type inyour shipping details. Please enter you address details with care. Enter the exact NAME, and ADDRESS to which you would like the order delivered, as the details in this box are what will be used on the LABEL for your parcel.
How will postage be charged?
Each item has been weighed and the cost of postage and protective packing for each item has been calculated with great accuracy. The online webshop has the ability to keep a running total of the postage due on your order (this is shown as a subtotal on the second-last line on your shopping list). The total postage and packing is shown as 'First class Shipping' and is automatically added to your order, if you want to have it posted to your centre.
Can I arrange to collect the order for our centre from Global Co-operation House, as I used to do?
Yes, this arrangement can be continued, if you wish to collect you order, please type that request clearly into the text box provided at the bottom of the shopping list page.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is still necessary to give FIVE WORKING DAYS for the order to be picked from the warehouse and packed up, ready for you to collect. PLEASE allow sufficient time for your order to be prepared for you. Although the ordered processing has been speeded up by new technology, the packaging is a physical process and needs time. Animation
When you arrive at the bkpublications.com site you should first see a unique animation, depicting in graphic terms some of the concepts of Raja Yoga. There is a selection of four animations to choose from, Highlight the one you want to view, click on the words and the sequence will begin to play.
If you do not see the animation move, then you may need to download FLASH PLUGIN for your browser. Select DON’T SEE ANIMATION? from below the list and click to download the software that will play an attractive half-minute animation with peaceful background music to put you in the right relaxed state of mind to explore the rest of the website.

There is an option for sound on the Splash page and in many other areas of the website. If you don’t want to hear the sound selection on the Splash page, simply click on the OFF icon on the bottom left of the page.
N.B. Even if you chose to not to hear the music on the Splash Page, you will still have the opportunity to listen to selected sections of the spoken audio tapes and CDs, and also sample tracks of vocal and instrumental albums. When you select an item and go to its page, you will get the choice to download REALPLAY, if you do not already have it, in order to listen to several examples of the tracks before making your decision to buy. (Please note that there is a Free. REALPLAYER, and that is the one you should download).
So, if you want to purchase some excellent sounds to aid your relaxation and meditation: select, download, listen, decide, put it in your shopping cart, submit your details and wait for it to be delivered!

I live in the UK but I want these books to be delivered to my sister in the States. Is that possible? Yes, when you completed the order form, completed your own details (where you live, email address etc) AND you can fill in the DELIVERY address, giving full details of where you want your items delivered.
How is payment worked out? The amount you have to pay is calculated according to the place where the goods are being delivered. Within the UK, the total payment is calculated with the appropriate4 amount of VAT, and an allowance for packaging (essential to protect certain fragile items) and first class postage – so that the items you have ordered will get to you as quickly and safely as possible.
What is VAT? I am ordering from the States, and I don’t understand. VAT is valued added tax is a tax payable in the UK on certain goods. If you wer buying in the UK the correct amount of Vat would automatically be calculated and added to your purchase. As you are buying from the States, you will not be charged VAT, but you will be charged the appropriate amount of shipping to get your good s to your with speed and safety. The webshop will calculate all these amount correctly when you enter the correct information about the destination of the order. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE EU, NO VAT IS CHARGEABLE.
In what ways can I pay for an order? There are two main methods of paying: by credit card and by cheque.
What do I do to buy the items I have ordered? When you have finished shopping, and are satisfied that · You have bought everything you want, and it is listed in your final shoping list · The Destination at the top of the page is correct · You have looked at the total cost of your order and know that it is in pounds sterling… THEN proceed to the Checkout, by clicking on CHECKOUT, the button at the bottom right of the page. Then complete ALL the sections, especially do not omit those sections marked with an asterisk*, or your order cannot be completed.
Is it possible to send the items I have ordered to someone else? Yes. Simply, click on Gift A Friend and fill in the name and address of the person to whom you wish the items to be sent. There is even the opportunity to add a personal message which will be sent to your friend together with the gift you have chosen.
Can I have items I have ordered to an address which is different from the address at which my credit card is registered? Yes. Simply, click on ‘Alternative Delivery Address’ and fill in the details of where you wish the items to be sent.
